About Kayci Parish

I was born and raised in a small town, Runnells, in central Iowa. I am the oldest of 3; I have one sister and one brother. I graduated high school in the spring of 2005. While I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do post high school, I knew I wanted to continue my education. I attended a community college in Ankeny, Iowa to get all of my general education credits out of the way. After a year of studies I decided to transfer to a local medical school to become an x-ray technician. I quickly learned that was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I finished out the year and started a full time job with a student loan company in West Des Moines, Iowa. This is where I began my adventures with customer service. Being a people person, I had a really easy time adjusting. While not all situations were superb, I maintained the mindset that someone else has it worse than me and always treat people the way I would want to be treated in that exact moment. After a year with the student loan company it was time for a big move. In 2008, I became engaged. My fiancé was residing in Bellevue, Nebraska as an active duty airman. I quickly packed my things and moved. We got married and a year later welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world. While living in Nebraska I worked for a property management company. Again, in the field of customer service. Here I had more one on one interaction with our tenants or soon to be tenants. My goal was to do anything in my power to be sure our tenants were happy and always knew we were there if they needed anything. When 2011 rolled around it was time for a new duty station. My husband received word that we would be moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Shortly after arriving I began work with Black & Graham, LLC. This wonderful firm quickly became like a family to me. While this is my first time working in a law firm, my five years of experience in customer service have paid dividends in being able to provide excellent client service. I am here to assist our clients in any way possible, helping them find the solution that works best for them.
